Here's is a tutorial on how to make a simple sign, simple header for layouts, etc.
First open up photoshop and get out the picture you want to use. I'm going to be using
this picture.
Then your going to
Duplicate the picture twice like
this.
(Right click Background layer>>Duplicate then right click the background copy layer and duplicate)
Change
Background copy 2 blending option to
Overlay and 49% opacity & change Background copy to
Screen and 59% opacity.
Now
duplicate Background copy 2 and you should get
this.
Then bring the layer "Background copy 3" to the top of the layers like
this. Then right click and select
Merge Down
Next, make a new
layer above the background layer and click the eye ball on the background layer like
this.
Then right click on
Back ground copy and select Merge Visible
Go to Layer>>New Layer Adjustment>>Color Balance>>Press Okay
Now match your settings to mine. (click)
Then go to Layer>>Flatten Image.
Now its time to add brushes.
You'll need
these brushes.
Make a new layer and set the layer to Overlay and put some scratch brushes on the picture using black for the color. (#000000)
& now you can use your erase tool and erase the parts you dont want. Like
this.
Now make a new layer again and set the layer to Screen. On this layer you will add the orb brush like
this.
You can use any colors. (I used #ca1163 and #9c11ca)
Then, add your font. (I used the font Times New Roman, color #000000, and added a drop shadow) Set the font layer to Overlay/ & add it where ever you want.
Go to Layer>>Flatten Image.
To make the picture look better im going to add a border.
Press Ctrl+A on your keyboard (you should get dotted lines around your picture) and go to Edit>>Stroke
Width: 6px and Color: White
& repeat again. Press Ctrl+A on your keyboard (you should get dotted lines around your picture) and go to Edit>>Stroke
Width: 1px and Color: Black
Final Result :)
